After six games without a win, Western Sydney Wanderers found a way to end that run as they claimed victory against Sydney last week. They were once again unable to keep a clean sheet in a five-goal affair but they came out on the right side of the scoreline to lift the pressure that had been building. They now take on Western United whose four-match unbeaten run was ended by Brisbane Roar earlier in the week but having scored in all but one of their last ten matches, they should be able to breach the brittle defence of the Wanderers.
