Melbourne Victory’s poor run of form continued as they failed to win once again last time out against Central Coast Mariners. Having lost their last four, they did at least manage to end their losing streak with a point in that clash but it is still a worrying run ahead of this clash with Sydney. The defending champions suffered their first loss in five last time out as they were beaten by Adelaide United and while that is now four away games without a win, they can capitalise on the home side’s struggles to get back to winning ways here.
