Both of these teams made the play-offs last season as Brisbane Roar fell at the first hurdle while Melbourne City fell at the last in the final to Sydney so they will both be hoping to reach the post-season once again. City have more reason for optimism with the prolific Jamie Mclaren leading their attack once again. While they have seen a change in coach with assistant Patrick Kisnorbo stepping up to take the reins, there will not be wholesale changes to the way they play.
