Brisbane Roar ended a run of three matches without a win thanks to a victory over bottom side Newcastle Jets last week but they face a difficult task to back that up as they host in-form league leaders Melbourne City. The away side overcame Central Coast Mariners at the weekend to make it five wins in six which also left them unbeaten in ten which sees them boast a seven-point lead at the top of the ladder. The Roar have proven difficult to beat on home soil having avoided defeat in their last six but City are a different proposition and the Melbourne outfit should claim another positive result in this one.
