THE PREDICTION
San Jose Earthquakes come into this on the back of a 1-1 draw away to Portland Timbers which extended their unbeaten run to six successive matches. However, five of those have been draws which has seen SJ stall and fall away from playoff contention. They come up against an LAFC side that have reverted back to their poor form of earlier in the campaign with Bob Bradley’s side losing 4-1 at home to Sporting KC in their last outing after back-to-back draws and a defeat to Portland Timbers prior to that loss. Given that neither side will be confident of victory but capable of scoring and conceding in equal measure then both teams to score seems the likely outcome.
