THE PREDICTION
Ahead of the 2022 Major League Soccer season, Seattle Sounders were tipped up as one of the potential Supporters’ Shield winners. They have gone on to win the CONCACAF Champions League but have started their domestic season quite slowly. They now face a Los Angeles FC side that, under the management of Steve Cherundolo, have been very impressive this season. They begin this weekend’s round of fixtures sitting at the top of the Western Conference and they will come into this one as the favourites with nine wins in their opening 14 matches already.
