THE PREDICTION
Orlando City’s 2020 season was a fairly disappointing one due to their inconsistency with 11 wins and eight defeats. They come into this season without Dom Dwyer following the expiration of his contract and have filled that striking gap with former Milan striker Alexandre Pato. Pato managed five goals in 20 appearances for Sao Paulo in 2020. Pato alongside top-scorer Chris Muller and Nani should make Orlando entertaining to watch. They come up against an Atlanta United side that come into the season with Gabriel Heinze replacing Stephen Glass as head coach following a disappointing 2020 season in which they only won six of their 23 matches in the western conferences. The signing of Santiago Sosa in midfield will help to offer some balance. The likes of Ezequiel Barco, Josef Martinez and Jurgen Damm as well as former Lyon striker Lisandro Lopez should mean they are also entertaining. Given that, both teams to score could be a good bet for this one.
