Toronto come into this on the back of a 3-2 defeat away to Nashville in midweek which made it four successive defeats and they are now winless in their last five matches. It is now back-to-back games in which they have conceded three goals in what is continuing to be a very disappointing season so far. They come up against a Cincinnati side that have been similarly poor but do sit two points ahead of Toronto ahead of this round of fixture thanks to a 1-0 victory away to the hapless Chicago Fire. Neither side have played well throughout the season and Toronto’s defence lends itself to high-scoring matches in every game so both teams will be confident of scoring.
