A goalless draw away to Columbus Crew at the weekend began Philadelphia’s MLS campaign after a 5-0 aggregate win over Deportivo Saprissa in the CONCACAF Champions League Round of 16. They come up against an Inter Miami side that were slowed down by a poor performance by Gonzalo Higuain in their opening week in which they fell to a 3-2 home loss against Los Angeles Galaxy in Phil Neville’s opening match. They were generally impressive in terms of performance but lacked precision. Philadelphia will be confident of making it four competitive clean sheets in a row due to that lack of Miami thrust. Given that, a home win or draw seems a good bet for this one.
