Orlando City’s reasonable start to the campaign of back-to-back draws in the opening two matches was then boosted by defeating Cincinnati 3-0 in their third match thanks in part to a wonderful Nani goal in the first-half. They come up against a New York City side that have back-to-back wins against Cincinnati and Philadelphia Union since their opening day loss against DC United. Given the shocking start made by Cincinnati, it would be fairer to evaluate a prediction for this one without placing too much importance on Orlando and New York’s victories over them. Either side of that, Orlando have scored one and New York have scored in three in two matches apiece. Given that, under 2.5 goals looks a solid bet.
