THE PREDICTION
Bruce Arena’s New England Revolution had been relentlessly impressive throughout the campaign but a 2-1 loss to Dallas was followed by a 2-2 draw at home to Columbus in which the Revs threw away a two-goal lead involving a comical own goal from Andrew Farrell. That slight stumble has allowed teams back into the race but they will expect to get back on track in this match against a Toronto side that have endured a hellish season which continued last weekend as they went down 7-1 away to DC United. That defeat signalled the end of Chris Armas’ reign and he has now been replaced by his assistant Javier Perez on an interim basis. This should be a comfortable home victory.
