This is a match between two of the youngest franchises and both of them have started reasonably well in 2021. Nashville’s goalless draw away to Real Salt Lake last weekend has extended their run of clean sheets to three matches and they remain unbeaten all season but have only won one game. They come up against an Austin side that have surprised so far but are on the back of back-to-back defeats against Sporting Kansas City and Los Angeles Galaxy; that means they’ve now won two and lost three of their five games but they are yet to hit the ‘easier’ run. Both of their victories have come on the road and given Nashville’s propensity to draw; a draw would seem a solid bet for this one.
