The capital city franchise have won two and lost four of their opening six matches and have struggled to score goals throughout the campaign; they have scored five goals all season and two of those came on the opening day. They come up against a Philadelphia Union side that appear to have turned a corner since their elimination from the CONCACAF Champions League - the ability to focus solely on MLS action appears to have worked. They began the campaign with no wins in three, then they were knocked out and have taken seven points from a possible nine in their last three. A theme has been a lack of goals, though,with 14 goals in ten games in all competitions; half of those goals have come in just two matches. Given that record, and their good form, a Philadelphia low-scoring win would seem a solid bet for this one.
