As the youngest franchise in MLS, Austin have only played one home match so far this season and that was a goalless draw recently against the San Jose Earthquakes. They started the campaign relatively well but haven’t necessarily been that impressive since then. They come up against a Columbus Crew side in excellent form since their elimination from the CONCACAF Champions League. The visitors come into this on the back of a 1-0 defeat to Philadelphia Union but prior to that they had won three-in-a-row. The visitors will come into this as the favourites.
