THE PREDICTION
Seattle Sounders lost for the first time in four matches as they were edged by Portland Timbers last time out but they will be confident of responding as they take on SJ Earthquakes. With just two wins from eight in the Western Conference so far this season, the Earthquakes find themselves at the bottom of the standings. They are without a win in their last four, although they did end their losing streak with a point against Colorado Rapids in their latest outing. However, the Sounders look a lot stronger and having conceded the fewest goals in the conference, Seattle’s solid defence should be able to limit the Earthquakes and help them to earn all three points.
