THE PREDICTION
An intriguing battle is in store here between last year’s MLS Cup champions Seattle Sounders and a free-scoring LAFC side. The latter scored 11 goals in the group stage – the most in the tournament by far – but they have made a habit of starting slowly as they conceded first in each of their three matches in Group F. Seattle Sounders started the whole tournament slowly but they have grown into it and looked far more like their usual selves in their 3-0 victory against PNW rivals Vancouver Whitecaps last time out. Backing the Sounders to open the scoring looks like good value here.
