THE PREDICTION
Controversy surrounded Tunisia’s opening match of the Africa Cup of Nations. The north African side were defeated by Mali by a goal to nil after talismanic leader Wahbi Khazri missed a penalty and Mali managed to score a controversial one. The referee, though, was the centre of attention as he blew for full-time in the 85th minute, got corrected and then blew 13 seconds before the 90-minute mark anyway. They now come up against a Mauritania side that were defeated in a 1-0 defeat against Gambia in their opening match. That was a game very well reflective of how cagey and low-scoring the tournament has been. Tunisia will expect to get their tournament back on track with a slender win here.
