THE PREDICTION
Cape Verde have started their tournament with a 1-0 win and a 1-0 defeat. They edged past a ten man Ethiopia side in their first match in very unconvincing fashion. Whilst dominant and a win always looking likely, they didn’t really put their foot down against depleted opponents. They now come up against a Cameroon side that, as hosts, turned the style on in their most recent outing. They hammered Ethiopia by four goals to one, after going a goal down early on, after defeating Burkina Faso 2-1 after going a goal down. Vincent Aboubakar’s four goals in two games means he will probably now be rested as much of the Cameroonian side gets rotated having already qualified for the knockout stages. A draw, therefore, would appear a good value bet.
