Shakhtar Donetsk and Dinamo Kyiv do battle for the first silverware of the season here as the two Ukrainian giants face off in the Super Cup. With both sides not only in the midst of their domestic season but also competition in Champions League group stage, it would be no surprise if both teams make changes in this match even with a trophy on the line. Dinamo Kyiv have begun their season stronger, as they currently sit top of the Ukrainian Premier League and are unbeaten in their last six games in all competitions. However, it’s proving an inconsistent start to the new campaign for Shakhtar with defeat in their most recent Champions League fixture away at Moldavian side Sheriff a huge blow in particular.
