THE PREDICTION
Spain come into this on the back of a comprehensive 3-0 win in their opening match against Slovenia. A dominant display with the Spanish managing 21 shots and 71% of the possession; however, it has to be said, Slovenia wouldn’t be at the tournament if it wasn’t for their hosting duties. The Italians will be without both Sandro Tonali and Riccardo Marchizza following their red cards in their opening match against Czech Republic which ended 1-1 after a Giulio Maggiore own goal earned the Czech’s a point with 15 minutes to go. Despite a fairly disappointing season on a personal level with Milan, Tonali could prove to be a huge loss for the U21’s. It isn’t a vintage Spanish side but they should still win this one given the Italian suspensions.
