THE PREDICTION
The Croats were defeated by a goal to nil against Portugal via 68th minute winner. Croatia were fairly solid throughout and did manage ten shots on goal but they played without the ball. A style of play that was similar to Switzerland as they beat England 1-0. The Swiss controlled the lacklustre threats that England posed but did so without having much of the possession; particularly in the second-half. These were pre-match plans that were carried out so the tactics could easily be adapted but given those first round performances, under 2.5 goals could be on the cards.
