THE PREDICTION

Even before taking into account the home advantage that lies with Inter here, you would still make the Nerazzurri favourites against reigning Super Cup holders Juve. Inter – top of Serie A at present – are unbeaten in their 16 games in all competitions, winning 13 of those, and would dearly love to make their current superiority over Juve tell with more silverware. To be fair to Massimiliano Allegri’s side though, they picked things up before Christmas and have achieved a couple of decent results upon their return to action, most notably recording an excellent comeback win over Roma in a Serie A classic last weekend. They have found the net in each of their last eight games in all competitions but this confident Inter side should more than match them in that department so both teams to score in an Inter win is the tip.
