THE PREDICTION
KuPS’s 5-0 victory over Gnistan in the quarter-final in mid-March fell in the middle of four impressive friendly victories, albeit over weak opposition. They managed to finish above Honka in the Finnish Veikkausliiga and reach the European qualification stages for another season. Honka 2020 season was blighted by a lack of goal scoring. The only teams that managed fewer goals were the bottom three sides in the league. However, they maintained the joint best defence and given that the defensive strategy tends to pay off against sides like KuPS, sides who attack more, under 2.5 goals would be a solid bet for this one. That would reflect the meetings between the two last season where a 1-1 draw was followed by a 2-0 Honka victory.
