THE PREDICTION

Atletico Baleares are the fierce rivals of Real Mallorca on the island of Mallorca/Majorca but this is set to be a major match outside of that rivalry. Atletico Baleares come into this on the back of a 2-1 win over La Liga’s Celta Vigo in their most recent outing as their league, the third tier, continues to be on a break for their cup exploits. They defeated Getafe 5-0 before Christmas. They now come up against a Valencia side that left Jose Bordalas reportedly fuming after their 3-0 defeat at the Bernabeu against league leaders Real Madrid last weekend. The visitors have been porous at the back and very unlike a Bordalas side. Given the hosts’ run so far, they cannot be looked past for an upset and a home win looks a good bet for this one.
