Wales went on a brilliant run at the end of their Euro 2020 qualifying campaign as they secured their spot in next year’s tournament. They won three of their last five and earned what turned out to be valuable draws from their matches with Slovakia and Croatia with that giving them the freedom to come into the Nations League under no pressure. Finland also advanced to their first major tournament as they finished second behind Italy in their qualifying group.
