THE PREDICTION
The first meeting of the season between the two giants of Portuguese football takes place in the Portuguese Super Cup with Benfica squaring off against Porto. Both teams have had mini wobbles at times this season but their recent form has been exceptional and the two teams come into this game in great shape. The goals have been flowing for both teams and while there remain concerns over the defensive side of both teams, that does not necessarily mean this will be a goal fest. There will be plenty of respect shown in this game but one would imagine the game will eventually open up at some stage.
