THE PREDICTION
Having already qualified for the CAF Champions League knockout stage, Wydad Casablanca can seal their status as Group C winners with victory away at third-placed Kaizer Chiefs. The hosts currently sit level on points with second-placed Horoya which makes this match a huge one from their perspective. Whilst this looks a hugely daunting task on paper against the Moroccan giants, the visitors may potentially take their foot off the gas having already sealed their placed in the knockout stage. More realistically though, is that Wydad Casablanca will want to ensure top spot in Group C as the earliest attempt and against a side whom they beat 4-0 in the reverse fixture back in February, Faouzi Benzarti’s men will look to start on the front foot and control the tempo of the contest throughout, utilising their quality to maximum effect.
