The Austrian Cup reaches its climax here with LASK and Salzburg set to contest what should be an enthralling final at Wörthersee Stadion. For Salzburg, this represents an opportunity to secure not only a third successive Austrian Cup triumph, but also their third major trophy under head coach Jesse Marsch who is expected to leave the club at the end of the season to join German Bundesliga side RB Leipzig. Currently 13 points behind Salzburg in the Austrian Bundesliga table, LASK head into this final as underdogs and whilst Salzburg made it here courtesy of thrashing Sturm Graz 0-4 in their semi-final match, LASK needed extra time to edge a 0-1 victory over Wolfsberger.
