Felix Auger-Aliassime vs Zhang Zhizhen prediction

Felix Auger-Aliassime arrives in Dubai on the back of a title in Montpellier and a run to the final in Rotterdam.

The Canadian eventually lost to Alex de Minaur but will be pleased to have strung some wins together after falling at the first hurdle at the Australian Open.

First up here, the top seed meets Zhang Zhizhen for the third time with the Chinese still finding his feet after six months out with injury last year. 

Zhang is now down at 319 in the world but has previously been on the verge of the top 30 and can cause problems with heavy serving.

The head-to-head is level at 1-1 but FAA’s victory did come earlier this year with a 6-4 6-4 win at the United Cup. 

Both players have better form now but the Canadian is clearly superior in terms of overall skill set and if he delivers with that serve and plus-one forehand he should win comfortably.
