He takes on Titouan Droguet in the last four. The Frenchman, who qualified for the event, reached his first ever tour-level final after impressively beating Tallon Griekspoor in straight sets. Droguet thundered down 21 aces and did not face a break point as he won 7-6 (5) 7-6 (1) to pick up a second victory over a top 50 opponent in his career.
If Droguet produces a similar serving display, he could apply pressure on Auger-Aliassime. Nevertheless, the 25-year-old will be eyeing up yet another final indoors and he should come through this in straight sets.
