Felix Auger-Aliassime vs Jiri Lehecka prediction

It is sure to be a serve-dominated affair when Felix Auger-Aliassime meets Jiri Lehecka in the last eight in Dubai.

The pair have locked horns on three previous occasions with four tie breaks the order of the day across seven and a bit sets.

Felix leads the head-to-head 2-1 and has won the last two, including the final in Brussels last year, although one of those matches did see Lehecka retire at 3-3 in the first set in Madrid in 2024.

Auger-Aliassime has looked razor-sharp so far this week and is yet to drop a set after despatching Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard 6-4 6-4 last time out.

Lehecka had a bit of trouble early on against Luca Nardi before ending Pablo Carreno Busta’s run with a 7-6 6-4 success.

This is another one where it’s worth considering a punt on a tie break or two, given the history of the match-up and how well both players have served at the tournament.

In terms of the outright winner, FAA is living up to the billing of the top seed so far and all indicators suggest he will have the edge in the big moments once again.
