Felix Auger-Aliassime vs Alexandre Muller prediction
Felix Auger-Aliassime recovered from a slow start to get past Francisco Comesana in the first-round of the Paris Masters. He went down a break early on and was 5-2 down, though did manage to break back as Comesana was serving for the first set. Nevertheless, the Argentine still went in front after a tiebreak in his favour. Auger-Aliassime regrouped to mostly dominate the next two sets and win 6-7 6-3 6-3. He won the European Open just over a week ago and still has a chance of qualifying for the World Tour Finals.
Alexandre Muller is his next opponent. Muller ended a four match winless run with a straight sets win over Brandon Nakashima. Despite his poor form heading into the match, this was a measured performance from the Frenchman, who wasn’t broken on serve and clinched the victory deep in the second set to win 6-2 7-5.
Muller will take confidence from his first win in a while, but Auger-Aliassime is sizeable step up and has been one of the strongest players on tour over the last two months or so.
