HOW DID WE GET ON IN DOUBLE GAMEWEEK 31?

GW points: 47
GW average:
43
GW rank:
3,478,862
Overall rank:
153,877 (▼)

Team TSZ scored a respectable 47 points in a pretty difficult Double Gameweek 31 for a first red arrow in some time. Trystan and Alex both cheered, and I rolled my eyes, when Jonny scored against Aston Villa last weekend with all three of us forgetting that the Wolves wing back was but a fleeting Free Hit dream. In his place, Matt Doherty saved the week from mediocrity as Spurs suddenly look good again - for a bit - until they stop right around the time we all start tripling up on them.

GAMEWEEK 32 TEAM

Formation: 4-4-2
Captain: Kane
Vice-captain: Salah
Transfers made: 0
Point deductions: 0

There is little to report this week as the gamble of bringing in Bernardo Silva last time out leaves Trystan and Alex with £0 in the bank and just one transfer instead of the proposed roll. Deciding to roll the transfer this time around and once again spurn the opportunity to bring in Jonny Otto for tonight's Friday night fixture - WARNING, THE FPL DEADLINE IS 18:30 THIS EVENING - the chat was short, sweet and to the point.

The point being that they couldn't decide whom to captain between Mo Salah or Harry Kane, with the former in below-par form for his lofty standards. Salah has, you might want to sit down for this, not scored in his last five games. Meanwhile Harry Kane has scored five goals in his last five away games and despite not scoring any against Newcastle, he walked away man of the match for his role as at least three different positions. The stats are there to be followed but Alex was reluctant to de-armband the Liverpool forward. At least, that was, until Trystan suggested I should pick. Suddenly, Alex was very on board with Kane being captain. Bit rude mate.
