FPL Gameweek 4 – head-to-head comparisons: Patrick Bamford vs Callum Wilson
Two goalscorers in Gameweek 3 come under the spotlight here. Patrick Bamford (£5.8m) grabbed a late winner for Leeds in their Yorkshire derby against Sheffield Utd, whilst Callum Wilson (£6.4m) netted in controversial fashion from the penalty spot to salvage a last gasp point for Newcastle away at Spurs.
Gameweek 4 will see a a wounded Man City travel to Elland Road and face Leeds, whilst Newcastle host Burnley at St James Park. On paper, Wilson looks favourable when taking the fixtures into account. However, the Man City defence looked a shambles in Gameweek 3, as Leicester put them to the sword, scoring five goals against them. Bamford will almost certainly be afforded chances as Leeds look to take advantage of City's high line and when you consider that he costs £0.6m less than Wilson, we're inclined to learn towards him in Gameweek 4.
