The form of Burnley goalkeeper Nick Pope (£4.8m) continued in Gameweek 28 after he accrued 10 FPL points following the Clarets' 0-0 draw away at Newcastle. Pope has now established himself as the highest scoring keeper this season with 126 FPL points, including 49 points in his last six gameweeks. Gameweek 28 also saw success for Crystal Palace keeper Vicente Guaita (£5.1m), with the Spaniard picking up 11 FPL points following the Eagles' 0-1 win over bitter rivals Brighton.
Both keepers are at home in Gameweek 29, with Pope's Burnley hosting Spurs and Guaita's Crystal Palace welcoming Watford to Selhurst Park. Both sides have kept clean sheets in their last two games and there is little to separate the two keepers in terms of clean sheet potential. Therefore, whilst both are good options, we'd edge towards Pope purely due to his cheaper price tag.
Verdict: Nick Pope
