FPL Gameweek 28 – head-to-head comparisons: Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang vs Gareth Bale
Arsenal's Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (£11.4m) and Gareth Bale (£9.5m) of Spurs are both set to lock horns this weekend in the North London Derby, with the two each coming off the back of finding the net in Gameweek 27. Aubameyang scored in the Gunners' 1-1 draw away at Burnley and acquired eight FPL points, whilst Bale bagged a brace vs Crystal Palace and racked up 14 FPL points for his ownership.
Whilst both sides have scored four goals in their last four Premier League matches, Bale's FPL points return over the course of those four gameweeks have been significantly higher due to Spurs' two fixtures that took place in Gameweek 26. Bale has accumulated 35 FPL points over the course of the last two gameweeks compared to Aubameyang's nine points. Spurs have also scored nine goals in their last three league matches compared to Arsenal's four goals. Not only does Bale have the better recent form, he also has the better price, costing £1.9m less than Aubameyang and is to be favoured here over the Arsenal star.
