FPL Gameweek 28 – head-to-head comparisons: Patrick Bamford vs Michail Antonio
Despite failing to score in Gameweek 27, Michail Antonio (£6.6m) has netted twice in his last three games for West Ham taking his overall tally for the season to seven with three assists. Whilst Patrick Bamford (£6.8m) has fared far better over the course of the season so far with 13 goals and eight assists, the Leeds forward found the net just once in the last five gameweeks.
Leeds host Chelsea in Gameweek 28, with the Blues currently on a formidable defensive run having kept four clean sheets in their last five Premier League games. West Ham meanwhile, travel to Man Utd whom they faced at Old Trafford a month or so ago in the FA Cup, with the Red Devils winning 1-0 after extra time. Neither forward here are particularly enticing options considering the difficulty of their respective fixtures. However, Bamford can take solace from the fact that he has found the net once already against Chelsea this season and priced at just £0.2m more than Antonio, he has the edge for us here over the Hammers star, considering that Leeds also boast home advantage in Gameweek 28.
