FPL Gameweek 28 – head-to-head comparisons: Ollie Watkins vs Che Adams
Gameweek 27 was a successful one individually for Che Adams (£5.8m) who scored in both of Southampton's fixtures to secure 12 FPL points overall. Ollie Watkins (£6.6m) meanwhile suffered frustration as his Aston Villa side failed to make an impact from an attacking perspective against Wolves, with a 0-0 draw the final score. However, Watkins is still the sixth highest scoring forward in FPL.
The two strikers face relegation threatened sides in Gameweek 28 as Southampton host Brighton, whilst Aston Villa travel to Newcastle. The threat of Watkins however, may be nullified by the absence of influential midfielder Jack Grealish. Adams is likely to start for Southampton when considering his recent form and with him being priced at £0.8m cheaper than Watkins, the Saints forward has the edge for us in this head-to-head.
