Man City were one of only two teams with two fixture in Gameweek 27 and despite a hugely frustrating first match, which saw Pep Guardiola's side beaten 0-2 by local rivals Man Utd, midfielder Kevin De Bruyne (£11.8m) rewarded his ownership in match two, scoring twice as his side defeated Southampton 5-2, leaving the Belgian with a final score of 16 FPL points. For Mo Salah (£12.5m) however, it was a fourth successive blank as Liverpool fell to a 0-1 defeat at home to Fulham, the sixth successive Premier League loss at home for the Reds.

Salah will be hoping for a change of fortune in Gameweek 28, with Liverpool away at Wolves who have proven favourable opposition for the Egyptian in the past. The reverse fixture at Anfield saw Salah register a goal, an assist and 14 FPL points and Liverpool's 2-0 win over Leipzig in their Champions League game midweek could be a sign of their attacking talisman returning to form after he netted the opening goal in Budapest. De Bruyne will of course prove a huge attacking threat for Man City away at Fulham. However, after starting in Man City's last four league matches it would be no surprise if Pep Guardiola's rotation policy was to strike and De Bruyne begins this one from the bench. With a Champions League game for Man City in midweek, we're inclined to play it safe here and go for the Liverpool midfielder.

Verdict: Mo Salah
