FPL Gameweek 28 – head-to-head comparisons: Dominic Calvert-Lewin vs Richarlison
Two Everton forwards come under the spotlight here as we assess which of Dominic Calvert-Lewin (£7.7m) or Richarlison (£8.0m) will prove the better signing from an FPL perspective in Gameweek 28. The Toffees fell to a 2-0 defeat away at Chelsea in Gameweek 27, however a much more favourable awaits for Everton this weekend as Burnley travel to Goodison Park.
Recently Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti has altered the way his side set up to ensure that Richarlison shoulders less defensive responsibility and prioritises his attacking threat. Those changes have worked with the Brazilian netting in four of his last five Premier League games. Calvert-Lewin in comparison, has failed to score in his last four league appearances and looks out of form having missed a number of glaring chances in the process. Richarlison however, appears high on confidence and a consistent danger in the opposition half and from set pieces. He is definitely worth the extra £0.2m and should be invested in here over Calvert-Lewin.
