Despite a tough fixture on paper away at Man City, Bruno Fernandes (£11.5m) with the help of the penalty spot managed to find the net and pick up ten FPL points for his large ownership in Gameweek 27 as Man Utd beat local rivals Man City 0-2 at the Etihad Stadium. Heung-Min Son meanwhile (£9.6m) registered an assist in Spurs' 4-1 victory over Crystal Palace, however with four goals scored by Jose Mourinho's men his ownership will be disappointed at just a five point return.

Gameweek 28 sees Man Utd host West Ham, whilst Spurs are away to Arsenal in the North London derby. Both are difficult fixtures, however the match being away from home is particularly worrying for Son. The South Korean international has failed to register an attacking return in his last four away league matches and in a fierce derby encounter, the Gunners will be more than motivated to nullify his attacking threat. Whilst Fernandes in comparison, has racked up 36 FPL points including three goals and three assists in his last three home league fixtures. When taking those damning stats into account, not to mention Fernandes' control over penalties and free kicks then it's clear that the Portuguese midfielder is the better option for Gameweek 28.

Verdict: Bruno Fernandes
