FPL Gameweek 25 – head-to-head comparisons: Luke Shaw vs Aaron Wan-Bissaka
Both Man Utd full-backs Luke Shaw (£5.0m) and Aaron Wan-Bissaka (£5.6m) have proved in recent weeks that both provide more than just defensive returns from an FPL perspective. Both have registered a number of attacking returns in recent gameweeks for United and their respective FPL owners. The latest being Shaw's assist in Gameweek 24 vs West Brom, which saw him pick up three bonus points and eight FPL points overall.
Over the past three gameweeks, Wan-Bissaka has netted a goal and two assists with a total of 22 FPL points, whilst Shaw has registered four assists and 18 FPL points. Whilst Shaw is priced at £0.6m cheaper, Wan-Bissaka has acquired 24 more FPL points over the course of the season although he has featured more often than Shaw. The right back feels like a safer pick than Shaw, but realistically, both would prove good selections from both a defensive and attacking perspective vs a struggling Newcastle in Gameweek 25.
