FPL Gameweek 25 – head-to-head comparisons: Harry Kane vs Sergio Aguero
One of these head-to-heads where we face a battle between our head and our heart. Whilst Spurs forward Harry Kane (£11.0m) is currently performing in the present, Sergio Aguero (£10.3m) performed in the past and we yearn for him to get back to his best as he comes ever closer to regaining full fitness for Man City. Aguero appeared on the bench in both of City's Gameweek 24 fixtures although he did not make it onto the pitch in either of those matches.
Kane failed to find the net in Gameweek 24 as Spurs were comprehensively beaten 3-0 by Aguero's Man City. However, over the course of the season so far the England international has racked up 13 goals, 11 assists and 153 FPL points. He is currently the highest scoring forward in FPL this season and the fourth highest scoring player overall. As much as we'd love to select Aguero away at Arsenal in Gameweek 25, we simply don't expect the Argentinian to start and therefore have to keep a level head and plump for Kane vs West Ham, especially after his two goals and assist vs the Hammers in the reverse fixture earlier in the campaign.
