FPL Gameweek 25 – head-to-head comparisons: Danny Ings vs Patrick Bamford
Two forwards with two fixtures to their name in Gameweek 25 are Southampton's Danny Ings (£8.4m) and Leeds' Patrick Bamford (£6.9m). Leeds travel to Wolves and Southampton host Chelsea before the two sides meet at Elland Road this coming Wednesday and both these strikers expected to be coveted by many FPL managers as the deadline approaches.
Ings bagged his eighth goal of the season in Gameweek 24 as the Saints went down 1-2 to Wolves, whilst Bamford suffered his first 'blank' in four gameweeks after failing to register an attacking return in Leeds' 4-2 loss at Arsenal. Over the course of the season however, Bamford has shown far more consistency with 12 goals and eight assists whilst Ings has also suffered through injuries. When also taking into account Bamford's cheaper price-tag, he appears the better value option here.
