FPL Gameweek 20 – head-to-head comparisons: Harry Kane vs Jamie Vardy
Whilst Harry Kane (£11.1m) only faced one fixture on Double Gameweek 19, he still managed to outscore Jamie Vardy (£10.1m) despite the Leicester forward playing twice against Southampton and Chelsea respectively. A goal and three bonus points for Kane in Spurs' 1-3 win over Sheffield Utd saw him take home nine FPL points, whilst Vardy could only manage four points after failing to score over the course of the gameweek.
Owners of former England international Vardy will be hoping for a marked improvement in Gameweek 20 as high flying Leicester travel to Everton, whilst Kane and Spurs host defending Premier League champions Liverpool. Both fixtures represent an element of difficulty, but Liverpool with a number of defensive injuries are not the force they have proven to be over the last couple of seasons at the back and Kane, currently the joint second highest scorer in this season's Premier League will fancy his chances at finding the net once again in this one. Whilst he is the more expensive asset, Kane is the higher owned player and arguably the more reliable. For that reason, we narrowly give him the edge over Vardy.
