FPL Gameweek 20 – head-to-head comparisons: Bukayo Saka vs Emile Smith-Rowe
These two Arsenal youngsters have shone on the pitch for the Gunners going forward and have providing FPL managers with two cheap differential options. They both combine together on Gameweek 19, with Emile Smith-Rowe (£4.5m) setting up Bukayo Saka (£5.3m) for Arsenal's second goal in their 3-0 victory over Newcastle. Smith-Rowe came out of the match with six FPL points, whilst Saka managed nine points.
Mikel Arteta's side make the trip to Southampton in Gameweek 20, a tough fixture on paper when considering that the Saints have three clean sheets in their last four Premier League games. Arsenal attacking assets are not likely to prove popular in a fixture like this when considering that goals are expected to be at a premium. For that reason, we're inclined to give Smith-Rowe the nod over Saka simply due to his cheaper price, allowing us to invest extra funds elsewhere.
Verdict: Emile Smith-Rowe
