FPL Gameweek 10 – head-to-head comparisons: Kyle Walker-Peters vs Charlie Taylor
In a tough fixture for Kyle Walker-Peters (£4.6m) away to Wolves in Gameweek 9, the right-back managed to pick up a bonus FPL point despite Southampton not keeping a clean sheet in a 1-1 draw, taking him to three FPL points overall. Charlie Taylor (£4.4m) had better fortunes though, as Burnley were back to their defensive best with a 1-0 win over Crystal Palace. Left-back Taylor picked up seven FPL points after earning a bonus point of his own.
Burnley face a daunting task in Gameweek 10 however, as they travel to Man City. Southampton don't have it much easier at home to Man Utd, but with home advantage, combined with the fact that the last three matches in all competitions between Man City and Burnley at the Etihad Stadium have finished 5-0 to the hosts, gives them a better chance on paper of a clean sheet. Even though he is £0.2m more expensive than Taylor, we cannot look past the diabolical history of Burnley's fixtures away to Man City, so the Saints defenders edges it here.
Verdict: Kyle Walker-Peters
