FPL Double Gameweek 26 – head-to-head comparisons: Ademola Lookman vs Harvey Barnes
Both these two midfielders enjoyed hugely successful Gameweek 25 fixtures, with Ademola Lookman (£5.0m) scoring the only goal in Fulham's 1-0 victory at home to Sheffield Utd, his fourth Premier League goal of the season and acquiring 11 FPL points in the process. Harvey Barnes (£6.9m) meanwhile, recorded both a goal and an assist for the second time in successive gameweeks as Leicester beat Aston Villa 1-2 away from home, earning Barnes 13 FPL points.
Lookman's two Double Gameweek 26 fixtures sees him up against Crystal Palace (a) and Spurs (H), whilst Barnes faces Arsenal (H) and Burnley (a). The Fulham midfielder provides the cheaper option, however Barnes is more reliable and in such a crucial gameweek, we would say that spending the extra money here for Barnes is worthwhile especially with the Foxes man in such good form.
