These two free scoring superstars are expected to be serious rivals for the EURO 2020 golden boot this summer and we compare which of Cristiano Ronaldo (€12.0m) or Harry Kane (€11.5m) will outscore the other from a EURO 2020 Fantasy point of view on Matchday 1. Both enjoyed excellent domestic campaigns, Ronaldo scoring 36 goals in all competitions, whilst Kane was awarded both the Premier League golden boot and playmaker award after racking up 23 goals and 14 assists over the course of the league season.
Ronaldo and Kane each hit double figure goal tallies over the course of EURO 2020 qualification with Portugal forward Ronaldo scoring 11 goals for his country, but was trumped by Kane's 12 goals for England. England face Croatia on Matchday 1 at Wembley, with Kane on the scoresheet the last time the two sides clashed at Wembley in the UEFA Nations League. Ronaldo however, faces a Hungary team whom he scored twice back in EURO 2016. Both forwards are extremely enticing assets in their own right with both taking control of penalties and each expecting to find the net at least once. Ultimately if forced to pick one, we'd plump for Ronaldo on the basis of having the easier fixture on paper.
