Eva Lys vs Madison Keys prediction

Germany’s Eva Lys was looking pretty good in Montreal last week making it through a couple of rounds until she faced off against second seed Iga Swiatek and eventually came unstuck.

Reaching the third round was her best performance in the six WTA 1000 events so far this year so that will give her confidence but the 23-year-old has been handed a tough draw.

She takes on Madison Keys who was a winner in Cincinnati back in 2019. In a year where she is on course for the best season of her storied career, Keys will be keen to keep this strong form going and go far in this event.

The sixth-seed looked pretty good last week and should be fresh coming into this event. We expect her to have a good tournament and she should get off to a relatively comfortable victory here.
